Madinah: The first group of 25 Malaysians participating in the Guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit arrived in Madinah, marking the program's commencement for the year 1446 AH.

Upon landing at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the guests expressed heartfelt gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their generosity. They hailed the initiative as a "precious gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Islam and Muslims worldwide."

This first batch represents part of a larger delegation of 250 prominent Islamic figures from 12 nations. Over the year, a total of 1,000 Umrah performers from 66 countries will be hosted in four separate groups as part of the royal initiative.

The program, which facilitates Umrah pilgrimages and visits to the Prophet’s Mosque, was launched under a royal decree by King Salman. It is administered by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, aiming to foster unity and strengthen ties among Muslim communities globally.

This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to serving Islam and supporting the spiritual journeys of Muslims worldwide.
